Events In Sweetwater In the early 1900's Sweetwater was said to hold the biggest fair in East Tennessee! Shown left are some types of the racing that were popular at the fair circa 1911. According to local history books, Sweetwater is on record as the smallest town ever having hosted the Ringling Brother's Circus as well!
