"ANTSY MCCLAIN & THE TRAILER PARK TROUBADOURS"
This show will sell-out FAST! You've heard them on NPR's "All Things Considered",
John Boy & Billy, Car Talk and more. Antsy McClain is a songwriter, story-teller and entertainer
who sings about life in an American trailer park. His band are a skilled assortment of musicians who play
rootsy rock & roll. Their live shows are a unique, critically acclaimed mix of masterful
musicianship and self-depricating humor for all ages. Music News said: "Don't underestimate
McClain or The Troubadours as a mere novelty act. They have a lot of fun, but there is a positive, heart-warming message to the music. It's contagious, and it won't let go".

"Buck Bald" - Only 45 Minutes from Sweetwater!
NOTE FROM THE WEBMASTER:
I rarely add things to the Sweetwater website that aren't about things located within city limits,
but I had to share this since it's so close to town and because it's another reason living
in Sweetwater is so great! It's an amazing, yet little-known, place in the Cherokee National Forest
called "Buck Bald" and it's only 40-45 minutes from downtown.
DIRECTIONS:
Take Highway 68 South, through Coker Creek, and right before you exit Monroe
County you will see a road to your left called "Buck Bald Road". Turn there and
follow the road up the mountain (about 4 minutes). You should have a 4WD, or something with
good ground clearance because it is a dirt road with some rocks here and there.
Here is a shot of just part of the 360-degree views you get from the top of the mountain:
